Historic Lincoln State Park · Millen, Georgia
A place to camp,
gather, and rest,
as it always was.
This was Lincoln State Park, one of the few grounds near Millen where Black families could camp when Georgia's other parks turned them away. Today it's a modern glamping retreat that keeps that welcome: canvas tents, tiny homes, cabins, and campsites under the stars.

The land remembers
Black joy has always had a home here.
In the era of separate and unequal, most of Georgia's parks were closed to Black families. The state answered with just five segregated parks, and Lincoln State Park, near Millen, was one of them: a place to swim, picnic, and pitch a tent when nowhere else would have them.
This retreat sits on that history. We run it as a business and as a keeper of memory, with a share of every heritage walk going back into preserving the site.
